August 1st (oops - sorry) Scripture Memory Workout Verse

Time for our next verse in the Scripture Memory Workout! If you are doing the Scripture memory challenge, please post your verse here.
Even if you usually put your verse on the LPM Blog every 2 wks, please put it here too, to encourage the women in our group, and also maybe even to give others an idea of what to memorize!!

  1. I am believing God for many things right now and am drawn to these verses over and over many times a day so thought I would get the real thing hidden in my heart!

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”....... “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:32, 38-39 (NKJV)

  2. I am in a bit of a "funk" right now and I needed to remember God can do more than I can even imagine and it is by HIS power! So, my verse is Ephesians 3: 20 & 21 NIV

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church & in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever & ever! Amen.

  3. Hebrews 4:12
"For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are."

  4. Oh Lynn - I am praying for you! I have only recently come out of a "funk" myself (at least I am hoping it is over...) and feel for you! Thus the very reason for my memory verses this week. Eph 3:20-21 has been embedded in my mind for 3 years now and has been a huge help - still is!! May you see His Godness today! Love you siesta! March on!!!

  5. I want to keep my mind and thoughts on a higher plane, so I've chosen Col. 3: 1-2 NIV

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ,
set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.

  6. Thanks June, I usually go in and out of a "funk" quite quickly I am feeling better today, thankfully, not all the way out but on the way! I have kind of known the Eph. verses I chose but not solidly so I decided now was a good time to learn them! I very much appreciate your prayers and encouragement.

  7. Isaiah 25:1 ESV
"O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure."
